Exclamation B&M short shifter for the Cobalt!

RK Sport has "inked" a deal with B&M for their first run of short throw shifters for the Cobalt. This unit will work with the LS models only until they get there testing done on the SS. We expect as with most of what Chevy has done in the past that this will also work with the SS. But until we get confirmation it is being sold for the LS version only for now.

Retail will be $179.95 but our pre-sale will run for 30days or until the shifters become available. (Supposed to be 30 days from now)

Pre-sale price is $149.95 Save $30 just by pre-ordering. Remember a credit card will be needed for the pre-sale order but will not be charged until the units ship out.

Part # 12094518

Inquiries please call 800-214-8030

www.rksport.com

Thanks,

RC

Does it work with the Base models as well? I am not sure if they have a different trans or anything with all the talks of reverse lockout and such lately. I have been waiting for B&M to come out with one, but I just want to make sure it will work for my car before I commit.

To b-spot:

I'm sorry that you think the Cobalt is useless. May I suggest a different forum for you to be on?

If you don't have anything usefull to say....

Maybe its just a personal pet peve, but I hate it when a thread has been bumped and I go into it only to find out it says "thats cool" or "sweet" or ""

Sorry b-spot!

You just caught me out on an early Monday morning. (If you know what I mean...)

I didn't even see the "quote" in your post.

Just pull it back out and sell it when its time to turn the car in. Thats what I am going to do with my add ons if I decide not to buy the car when the lease is up.

Been talked to B&M my self and the shifter should be ready by the end of May from what I have been told. Soon as its ready I my self should have quiet a bit of these show up to the shop . . . already listed on the website as well . . . by May 1st my banner should also be up in the vendor section since it would make sense to start from the start of a month and not in the middle . . . either way... soon as I get the stuff in stock I will let you guys know . . . .

Yes, the SS does have a short throw, however the B&M is much more appealing!
