Kyle right now im just finishing up some things and getting others in order. Id like to beat millers 5speed record. On a 4.05 at that. And then go to a 4.45(if thr 4.05 is still together) and see what it takes to go faster. I wont be on this 259 at the end of the year thats for sure.

I cant speak to the strength of the material of the lnfs. Buts heres a comparison between them and dss axles. I also have an oem lsj in the car currently that ill mesure and compare when i put this setup in.

the weak point on the LSJ is the splined portion outboard. The inner tripod joint housing is identical to both, the tripod inner shaft of course is different on the LNF, its larger.

I have seen LNF axles break at the strip, in the CV joint bearing race.

LSJ I have seen both main shaft and splined outboard shaft break.

LNF is a very good upgrade, but as you can see, a lot of work.

I use a different set up, with an LSJ diameter custom shaft made out of the same material used for C6R race axles, and a pontiac grand am outer cv joint which is pretty much similar to the LNF but a smaller diameter axle shaft. My shafts are much lighter than LNF is about all. And you can hardly see a difference its 100% stock appearing...

ex soccer is doing 100% the right thing to suit his needs for 1320.

Ah I c. It's very cool to see you put all this together. Hopefully you'll beat some records. I look forward to seeing it run at CED this year. And hopefully I don't break anything, lol.

Thanks john. Its nice to do something different or with a purpose and have someone say it's all going well.

been emailing with Powell. found the proper spacers to run since it's pretty much an lnf setup. different than the 55mm. should be on their way....some time. then everything will go together.

eh don't get your hopes up. i'm not gonna race it if it's not 100% the way i want it. still need to get these on. need to order the front wheels and test fit those. order a spacer if need be. then get the slicks. and then the rear wheels. need the straps in the front. machine the rear spring spacers and order the new qa1 springs to get rid of the ksports in the rear
