Billet Trany Case!!

How great would this be if this was made for our transmission??

Any thoughts??

It would be awesome and expensive. I'd rather have a stronger gearset personally as motor mounts will fix the wheelhop that cracks the case.

I was just curious. My dad does alot od welding for this local machine shop. This guy does awsome work.

It would double the price of our cars. A 40,000 Coablt probly wouldn't sell that well.

I would be interested in seeing what would be involved and what the cost / benefit would be (stronger case = less flex = less load on the bearings = higher torque rating = now we have to worry about shredding gears )

Totally true

I drag race quads and the guys who run banshees have billet cases. They only have to put in a billet second gear the rest works fine.

Nope! lol But Ive heard of tractor racing so I'm not surprised. Me being from accross the river from NYC, i don't hear much about quad racing and what not, but thats kinda cool...

Ya its a blast.

My dad builds all the custom frames. We run snowmobile engines on them. Twin cylinder 2 strokes. 240hp on alcohol. The track is three hundred ft. We run consistent 3.60 at 90mph.
