It started slipping and just never stopped i bearly got it home and i had to call a tow truck to get it to the dealer. and the dealer is not going to cover it saying it is normal were and tear. so ur telling me with 4k miles on it it is going blow up and i even went up there at 2k miles to say ther is something wrong with the cluch. man i must be a really bad driver to blow it up with 4k miles.

Im so sick of my clutch slipping that i dont even want this car anymore...if GM cant put a clutch that doesnt meet the needs of a high performance car then thats pathetic. Ive drove a 5 speed for 8 years now so its not like i dont know what im doing. i dont ride the clutch and i dont give my car hell but everyonce in a while i like to get on WOT. 8/10 times the clutch wont grab going to to second and its so frustrating that im almost to the point of trading it in.

Transmission

You guys are all lucky. I have 11,000 miles on my SS/SC cobalt and the dealer called me today and told me that I need a new transmission. I have only complained about the damn thing coming out of second gear for like 2 weeks. Now it is going to be down for a while especially being that I have the LSD model. I am going to make them give me a loaner car until mine is repaired.

So many clutch problems with everyone lately. Damn its kinda scary. I wonder if they are actually going to do recall on this one.

Profitability
Profit Margin (ttm): -5.49%
Operating Margin (ttm): -7.09%

That was pulled from yahoo's finance profile on GM.. I highly doubt they will recall anything they don't have to. Nobody has died yet, they dont care.
