I have been lookin at some TQ dampeners laltly,

but is it worth the money? I have the trans mounts done and all that but I dont know if I will feel/notice any difference w/ the TQ dampener.

If anyone could let me know what they think of theirs that would be great.

Nope. Not worth it at all.

Get the CAB.s and an uper motor mount and that will be alot beter for only few bucks more!

i would deff go with that setup...that is if you want to actually hook up at the track, but if you dont then just leave it the way it is..whatever floats your boat.

 

I wouldn't want to hook up at the track until I had the upgraded axles. But once that was done just replace every one of the mounts and the CABs. The TD is fine as a stop gap measure, but since he already has part of the problem solved I'd say don't get it, just get the mounts.

 

I love my TD. It saved me from breaking axles the second time I went to the track. I would also suggest the CAB's and mount too though.

 

With an uper mount a T/D would not do anything. The mount will stop movement. So at that point a T/D is just there for looks.

I might cet one and put it on my freinds car to test it for my self and try it on my car as well. I might. I dont know. Its alot of money to spend just to prove its not as good as a mount.

tommy we did the first set of poly mounts in your car alredy!!...

i cant see a TD doing much for you now with the trans mounts and if you want you can go the rest of the way and poly the motor mounts like i got and totaly lock the motor in....you've alredy got vibes from the trans mounts so its not gonna be any differant if you do the motor mounts.

i vote "NO" on the TD.
