Blown Transmission

I am getting my tranny rebuilt by performance autowerks and i wanted some opinions if i should go with stage 0 325 hp 325tq or pay the extra $1000 to go stage 1 which is rated 400hp 400tq my stock transmission blew and all i have done to my ss is basic bolt ons and tune from zzp

If you have the money I would go stage 1. I looked at going with stage 2 myself based off another members recommendation. There are a few on Facebook that due them cheaper but you don't get a warrenty. Stage 2 would be a really nice trans, but expensive.

Ok thank you i might go stage 1 with a stage 3 clutch and new flywheel

Honestly if you aren't going past power levels that you are at the lsj upgraded or commonly known as gmpp clutch would be a good buy for you. Most of the stage clutches start at about $500 and you could do the gmpp much cheaper and it's a good clutch.

I'll second the GMPP clutch. I'm not making massive power but it holds all day long. Pretty much the general consensus is if you still have stock turbo, that clutch is the best bang for your buck.
