Well really if you have to buy a knob separate it will cost more than twm. It's 200 for bps with no knob or 270 for twm it's not really worth it at that point. Give a little more and you have a really nice knob....you'll just have to get a baby sock to go on it haha
TWM also works off flat rate shipping of $19.95 no matter what, even if you're just buying base bushings. The TWM package I had was worth well over $400 after going with a better knob from them. I see what you're saying, although this company looks like it might be the quality of TWM with pricing more like Hurst

Ya your definitely right. The total cost would be crazy expensive. I mean if I was gonna go with twm I wouldn't get an upgraded knob. Well see what they say about the knobs. There pretty equal at this point.

Like TX said, I had considered TWM at one point, and with the base bushings, and knob I wanted it was all together well over 400 bucks, iirc it was closer to 500. If bps offers some decent knobs for these I'm gonna be picking one up for sure.

Here are some pictures with everything installed, two without the shift knob and boot to show the shifter and the attachmetn for the stock shift knob.
The other pictures are in neutral, 3rd gear and 4th gear
Still amazed at the improvment it gave to the car. Recommend it to everyone, specialy at that price

Can you get a better picture of the tang for the reverse lockout and where it sits against the shift base in reverse? One complaint I have with the TWM is that you have to adjust it too far to the right to get the reverse lock to get past the ridge on the base.
Second question, did you have to use any parts from the stock shifter at all? My stock shifter is 3200 miles away in a trash heap some place.

I am highly highly considering getting this lol. Now that Ive been looking at reviews for the twm shifter Im seeing how alot of people actually dont like it all that much. I love the ball it comes with but I dont want to burn or freeze my hand lol. So is this as low as the twm shifter? I think it has the same specs but I feel like that may be unreliable. also could I put a twm knob on this?
Ahh ok now I see their shift knobs on their site, all they have are the ball knobs which is a shame, I was hoping to get something similar to the twm piston or type r. I'm curious as well if a twm knob would fit this.
I would like to see someone make a duplicate of the stock shifter insert in a brushed aluminum finish possibly painted numbers on them.

it's easy to remove the stock knob. I just removed the grey insert with the engraved speeds on it, there a set screw under it. remove that, pull pretty damn hard on it and it's out. You can see on the pictures it's not damaged at all.
The shift knob is the only stock part I had to re-install, the rest of the stock shifter is not re-used.

You can see on the pictures it's not damaged at all.

ive wanted a sts for so long but couldnt come to paying 400+ like everyone else said for TWM and no others seemed reliable...where did this thing come from!? sub'd to keep hearing about it and may be picking it up...
Update: just got a response back. Alright guys, bps currently has knobs available for these (currently only the ball style). They did however inform me that they will be coming out with other various knobs along with finishes very soon. Looks like this is the new sts to have! Check them out on fb, they normally show the new products on there before they post them to their website.
