Broken clip under shifter.. what is this?

So I took my SS into the dealership because I lost all my gears. They replaces a broken shift cable for forward gears, so I got 1-5 back. But there is a clip for the reverse gear that is broken so reverse still doesnt work.. and they won't replace the clip under warranty because gm only sells it in the whole shift assembly and I have a hurst short throw... so now its up to me to fix. Anyone know what this clip Is called or where I can get one? I'm on my phone so ill do a separate reply with pics. thanks!

sorry to bring up an old thread but i believe i may have the same clip broke seeing as i still get 1-5 but cant get into reverse (the shifter physically cant move over any farther to the right even with the lockout lifted unless i undo this clip) is this similar to what you felt when your clip was broken?
