I can't wait to see what the SS/TC's will do to our current transmissions with the torque that they're making.

Indeed. That's more torque already than 99% of all the SS/SC's out there.

Time will tell. I hope I am proved wrong and its a Supercharged thing.

Because there are too many YOUNG people that own Cobalts.

Not too many that are willing to Pay to Play. Or they think it won't happen to them.

I have full boost as soon as I step on the throttle.

3k to take away the fact the trans willl grenade itself is better than buying a new OEM 3k trans

but it takes a bit to spool up, it's not as instantaneous as it seems. unlike a supercharger.

You can most certainly count me in on whatever the BEST transmission is!!!!! I just broke my second one and this has gotten old really quickly, seeing as I now have to pay for this one and do the labor myself..... Also, I would really like if they offered different gearing, like the 4.45.... If someone doesn't start to do something along the lines of building beafy transmissions for our cars I will start my own small business. And don't think I am kidding....

There is different gearing to take into account as well. The TC's have longer gears... which should put a little bit less strain on the trans.

And Time-to-Torque is faster on the S/C version. If all you ever saw was a stock boost gauge in an SS/SC... then you don't know the true meaning of instant boost.

Yes, the SS/TC spools fast... but in the battle of Time-To-Torque, the S/C will always win.

Either way, the TC is hitting MORE torque. I was just trying not to pass the curse on to you guys.

If you want it... it all yours!

Why the hell would you want 4.45 gears? That would effectively make 1st gear useless/pointless.

this looks interesting, but there should be another item in the poll, like "yes, when ever my tranny blows up." cuz under a grand for a rebuild is cheap. it cost me to do that for my cavalier, an all i did was an lsd insert and stronger diff, old isuzu with machined gears. and that handled my whole 160whp lol.

^^^ you guys are correct. Most won't do this until there tranny goes, but that's not a bad deal for Shep, cause over the course of the next few years there will be a lot that go, even F23 trans. Hell they should do F23 trans just because there are so many.

I'd rather do this before the kaboom, these cars like to take out the entire trans casing and all.

this is one of things that should be done in the "while you're in there" theory.

Yeah, the problem w/ that theory for me, was it starting with an Exedy...

...now it's Exedy, S2 axles, upgraded knuckles, custom spherical rod ends in the rear mounts on the A-Arms arms, TRANS, etc, etc...
