Stop Slamming Gears!!!!!! Normally this problem is cause by people putting too much force on the shifter when trying to speed shift. Any by the way this is f&%ing up the shift forks and blocking rings on your synco's. Drain you tranny fluid and see if a bunch of brass comes out.

Need adjustatle shift stops, like I had for my Mustangs and Trans Ams back in the day. Just a bolt to stop the handle from moving too far into the shifts.

You would have to upgrade internal pins inside the tranny. The shift linkage inside the transmission have weak pins holding them in place. These will be the next to go after the cables.

got it back, shifts like butter, actually better than it did when i first got it. they must have done something to the tune because when i started it up at the dealer it went into a cold start a nd fuel pressure was 1750 psi, i dont ever remember it jumping up THAT high. and it took a lot longer to come back down to the 600ish that i normally wait for. the car also sounds different below 2200rpm, no more funny buzz sound.
