CED lsj upgraded clutch and experience
My lsj just turned 100k on factory clutch and the TOB went. the clutch was actually not too bad. however while im in there and the mileage might as well replace everything. Bought the upgraded clutch from CED and all other parts necessary. shipping was INSANE meaning i got everything within 3 days. I didnt even get to track it lol, thats how quick it was. so i thank everyone at CED for your crazy good prices and customer service etc...
So i had the new clutch installed for about two weeks so far. I have about 190 miles on it with a mixture of city and highway miles. the engagement and disengagment of the clutch is just out of this world. PERFECT! i did a soft launch today just rolling into gear hard and going wot. it held beautiful, grabbed so quick she did a half second chirp. thank god for boost reduction lol. but anyways, If your like me and you want your LSJ to hold its own ground and get you from point a to point b aka daily driver and you have a stage 3 etc... i highly recommend this clutch. you dont need a stage wtf exedy or spec. thats stupid unless you plan on making big power like 450 and up. this clutch is rated for 300whp and i know people at 350 with ZERO issues. ZERO.

i love mine. my factory clutch annoyed me right from the time i got the car (bought used). last summer i put in the upgrade clutch and i love it, drives so much better. i didnt want a stiff pedal or lightswitch of an aftermarket clutch, my car is a daily driver and thats just what sort of clutch this is.

huge difference with the upgraded clutch. the oem one starts to slip pretty soon under repeated abuse even with stock power. when I removed mine, it wasn't even worn out. i guess they just don't hold that well.
