Check/Fill plug 2.0 SS/Sc

I was wondering if anyone had a pic of the plug so I know what Im looking for when I go to check my tranny fluid next weekend.

**** I wish I got a pic of this when I did my clutch......you'll definately find it because you have to use an allen key to get it out....

well, that should be enough info i suppose, i thought it was a bolt like the oil drain plug, but how many allen key bolts could there be in that wheel well.

Also, I know the consensus is that Saturn Manual Tranny Fluid, but what are your opinions on that Redline stuff?

Just buy the saturn stuff......I have another thread where the part number was posted up......It's like $12.50 a quart, and you need 2......

"Checking your fluid" = waste of time, unless it's leaking out don't worry about it.

I put Royal Purple Syncromax in my trans a couple of weeks ago. Both plugs are on the drivers side of the diff housing. You need an 8mm allen key to get them out. If you decide to change the fluid be advised you will need to shorthen the end of the allen key to get it into the drain plug which is very close to the engine cradle.
