that is actually a pretty good idea. i know the lettering on mine gets kinda grungy if i drive a lot. clear coating it would probably help quite a bit, but i don't know how you'd prep the ball.

i'd say just wipe it down real good with alcohol, and find a clear that works on metal. maybe you could even get a clear powdercoat? if that exists, that'd be plenty tough.

yeah im gonna talk to my friend who owns a body shop and see if he can clear it for me. I was just wondering if anyone else has done anything to theres because every one ive seen has nicks in it
