Clutch install! Need some advice!

Today, I dropped my car off at a local performance shop to have my Clutchmasters FX300 clutch and lightweight flywheel installed...

When I dropped the car off they told me that it may take a little longer to install than usual since it is their first cobalt they have worked on.

Around 3pm it was suposed to be done came and gone, 5pm it was supose to be donem, came and gone then 8pm.

After a few phone calls back and forth with the shop and talking to them it was very evident they were having NO luck which sucks but I am an understandable guy so and the guys at this shop are very cool too.

They finally have the car back together and running they first test it on the lift to make sure everything is cool.

Clutch will NOT enguage! They tried vacuum bleeding the system 3 times and still no-luck!

Well, after 11hrs of them working on the car (i'm very sure that they were frustrated) they closed up shop and tmw when clutch masters opens they are gonna get on the phone to get to the bottom of it hopefully!

I was talking with the guys there and he was confused why the part # was not on the CLutchmasters boxes and there was not a spec sheet and what not in the box..

I know the clutch is the correct one because I called CM themselves to verify that this clutch was the latest revision and it is!

All the problems with clutches in our cars I thought I was gonna have some luck! Guess not I am hoping they will have everything working tomorrow!

I am kinda dissapointed not to have my car since I have been so excited about this!

Any input on this situation?

Check my ongoing post just below this. If your clutch wont engage, that is a first! If it won't disengage, jump on the bandwagon with all of us. Where did you get the clutch from because you may have an older version of the 3 floating around? Good luck bro.

they may have not centered the clutch exactly, this could cause it not to engage, they're gonna have to take it all apart again to fix this, if that is the problem
