anyone have this problem

i was in 3rd and i hit the gas aroung 4 to 5 rpm it slips and same in 4th is it cold weather or i need a clutch it usaly around 19 to 30 deg when this happen

 

Best start shopping for a clutch...it is soon to be deceased.......

 

what are your mods? how many miles on the car? if it's slipping in gear, the clutch is going. most lkely driver error (i know, i know. it's not driver error)

 

perf mods gm stage 1&2, k&n cold air intake, dc cat back, b&m short shift, dc stut bar, ingalls engine damper, Tenzo-R Lowering Springs, NGK 1 step colder plugs, 2 gague pod stock boost gauge and Aeroforce Intercepter scan gauge, about 26000 miles and i had gm replace it once any sugest on a cluch and cheap good too

no dealer said its a common problem the guy who di replace his and i like price tight budget baby on the way

 

i think there was a vendor selling an oem clutch kit for...$205 i think? let me see if i can find it...

where in NJ do you live ?

 

carteret nj right next to woodbridge and were can i get the gm preformance clutch

 

crate engine depot but they dont have them in supply yet so you'd have to wait

 

could i call and find out

 

yea you could try last time i talked to them which was like a couple months ago they werent is supply, and theres nothing about it on there thread

x2 i have the stage 1 or oem replacement its a nice clutch for a dd and is low in cost

 

what kind that where can i get it and do i need a diff flwheel
