alright installed a spec 2+ clutch and spec flywheel about 1000 miles ago and i read many people said it made some noise that went away after break in...Well i broke it in correctly and it is still making a **** load of noise at idle when i am NOT pushing in the clutch. If i push the clutch in the sqeeking noise stops. It has the same sound like an old fan belt...oh yeah yes i replaced the TOB

anyone know what this might be and how to fix it

i have the same thing, sounds like meteal to metal, like the tob and the spring?? i'd like an answer to. drives fine but the noise bugs me.

 

my TOB is bad, and I suspect the clutch needs replacing also

thanks for the input i wll be taking it to a tranny shop tomorrow and will get back to you when i find out what they say and how much it cost to do it
