So I have a 2006 Cobalt SS. It has 40,000 miles and i just replaced the clutch in december with a spec stage 2 clutch. I noticed yesterday that it started slipping. It is doing the same exact thing as it was before when i needed my clutch replaced. I have never noticed a problem with my clutch until the other day. It seems to be slipping but i just had it replaced. I do not drive the car hard or anything. COuld it be the clutch or something else? I dont see how th clutch can go already without any notice. It slips sometimes but other times it grips and drives fine

 

did you replace your throw out bearing when you replaced the clutch? and who did you buy your clutch from?

 

if you have gone through 2 clutches that quickly, it's most likely the driving. do you rev match properly? probably something wrong there.
