clutch question?

clutch question?

will racing hurt my clutch bad? when race i usually go from about 40 and hit 3rd and 4th and i shift it qucik and all so will this hurt the clutch or transmission. also i have the ss/sc if that makes a differnce thanks

i see a new transmission in your future.

racing is always hard on the car, no matter what type it is. if you can afford the parts you'll be needing to replace from racing, whether it be tires, clutches, or whatever, you're in the right car for it. the cobalt is built to be raced, but GM has to soften it down to make it a sellable car too.

Depends on your driving skill also. As long as you don't slip it much it won't overheat and disintegrate. Let off the gas when you shift, match revs to speed when shifting.
