clutch rod?

Any one needing to use these after they install a new/upgrade pressure plate. im having issues when shifting at high rpm and going into reverse.

Which plate/kit did you go with? My car has been through two new kits of the ACT kit with their PP and have not replaced the clutch rod.

I now have a spec 2+ installed. I had the act with no problems but it wasn't strong enough so I had to bigger and when I did I started to have the problem

I experienced the same after installing a stage 2 Southbend clutch and Fidanza flywheel. A bit more notchiness. I also bought the clutch rod but felt no need for if 'til now that swapped my shifter bracket. Don't know why but my 2nd gear hasn't been the same since.
