Clutch spin

My last two runs at the track yesterday, everytime I shifted into 3rd, it would seem like my tires were just spinning. But someone suggested that what happened was that the clutch was spinning. This is probably what happened because I didn't hear the tires squeal or anything when it happened. Now, I don't know anything about clutch spin, so if anyone can enlighten me on why it happened and if it was just a one time deal. Thanks.

Your clutch is slipping. Go to the 2.0 performance section go to page two and look for the post by Badmonkey. He has a poll going for all cobalt owners with clutch problems.

welcome to the ***** clutch club lol.
And do you notise any slip on the 1-2 shift because that is where it should slip the most.
Because 1-2 is a big gearing jump 3.38 - 1.76 lol should be like 3.38- 2.30 or somthing
