clutch travel

OK so here is the deal. I have 3,000 miles on the Cobalt now and it seem like the clutch travel has changed drastically since I bought the car.

When I first bought it the clutch would dis-engage with just a little pressure.
Now I have to press the clutch in almost all the way to the floor for it to dis-engage.

Is this normal for the Cobalt. I have not noticed this on other manual cars but the Cobalt is the first brand new manual car I have driven.

Basically, I want to know where everyones clutch disengages. Are yours still disengaging quickly or do you need to floor it.

My clutch is not slipping or anything so could this be just the clutch breaking in? Or is there a problem with the hydralics?
