I had my flywheel resurfaced. It's a step type flywheel so both the lower part and the part the pressure plate attches to had to be machined equally. I would have definintly gone Exedy if it was out when I needed a clutch though.

Yep, that's right. The original was Rev 1, then there was another stellar failure in the form of rev 2 and then apparently they got it right with rev 3. Maybe....

They also paid for every clutch that was sent to me and back, and they were overnighted at that! If their customer service has got this bad all of the sudden they deserve to loose sales over this fiasco. I was standing by them, as they fixed all my issues but there is simply no excuse for poor customer service and lying.
I feel bad for you getting the short end of the stick here man.

I just got off the phone with CM and told them 2K5SS/SC's name and that they paid his labor so why can't they pay for mine and they said that they only did it for him and only for him that he just got lucky. I told them that it was unfair costomer service and he said it wasn't just because he helped out one and not the other! Im deffinetly getting the BBB involved!

Well, my name is now tarnished to them, but I don't care!
I was hoping it would help you out, but apparently it didn't. Sorry to hear that bro. Good luck with the BBB, as i hope something in the end works out for you.

if it helps anyone it appears that my spec stage 2 is still holding great did the test no movement forward. 15k+ miles and no issues. I would probably by the same clutch again b/c it is holding with my driving and 250hp.

I called CM about a month ago and they told me to take out my clutch send it to them and they would check and see if it was an install problem or something with their clutch. They wouldn't send me another one when i suggested it and they argued with my tranny shop when they called them about it. It's a load of crap and if i had the money i'de go Exedy at the blink of an eye. Instead i'm taking it to the shop to see if maybe they can come up with something like shimming the flywheel or pressure plate.

Had Clutch & flywheeel put in today only thing I noticed so far is the pedal has to hit the back firewal to disengagel and releases with in a 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch would prefer pedal release and engage little higher up do creep test tomorrow

I like the low pedal release for some reason. It suits my driving style and seat position. I will admit that after I've been driving my S-10 for awhile and go to hop in the SS, I'll almost for sure stall it within the first minute or two!
After that it comes back naturally though.

ugh i hate mine now. i have to push it to the damn floor to shift and im almost certain its not disengaging all the way. bc any higher than the floor it doesnt shift. and its a rough shift at that. if i could get the disengagement point higher than i would be fine. im bout to call CM and see what they have to say (doesnt seem like much)

Try This if you did not bleed this way you will have air in the system. Brought my pedal up closer to stock and I only bleed once this way. Lot of air was Still in the system took 10 minutes to correct it for me
