Drain and Fill plugs for an LSD

I tried today to change my tranny fluid but with no luck. I cannot get the drain or the fill plug out. I think the bolt is a 8mm allen key. Is there a trick to take these out?

Yeah you take em out

They have a sealant on them and get tightened to 37lbft, so if all youve got is a small allen key, they can be a royal bitch to get out.

Make sure you get your fluid HOT before you change it. Like a 15-20 mile drive, that way it flows better and youll be sure that any junk in there is actually in the fluid and not resting somewhere

Its hard to get to I know with the engine cradle right beside it about an inch away, I just took and alan key and cut it in half on the short side so I could still use the long side for leverage but it is a big to get out, I took it out after I already had the cradle out so it was easier

The fill plug is easy to get too, just take off the tire
