equal length on a 2.2

just like title says, can u put ss intermediate shaft and equal length axles on my 2.2?? trying to lose some of this tq steer, it look like the ss bracket will line up with a 2.2 block

just changing axles won't get rid of torque steer, you need rotated trans mounts for that. i'm not sure who makes them for the 2.2 thou

The whole reason for equal lengths is to reduce tq steer, it help dramstcly on my past neon when I went to Srt axles, I know it won't get rid of all of it but it would help, I don't have much anyways right now as I'm stock

Unless i miss understand your definition of block, no it wont work. The side gear splines are different between the different trannys.

like i said look into rotated trans mounts, http://www.turbotechracing.com the ss axles will not bolt right up because the fit between the F35 and F23 trans are different (you have the F23) if you have torque steer really that bad check your alignment, i rarely have any torque steer and i'm lowered on eibach pro's, ottp rack spacers, and moog endlinks. besides the rotated mounts in the long run will probably be cheaper and last longer than the ss axles anyway

Powell is the only company that makes rotated trans mounts for the 2.2 I believe

yea you may be right, i haven't looked into them much since i have no need for them right now but i know if anyone made them it will be Powell or TTR. to the OP i would suggest PM'ing quikredline, Powell Race Parts, or Turbo Tech Racing to maybe get a better answer to your question

i just ordered bc coils, ttr rack spacers, ttr motor mounts, going to order the ttr side motor mount soon, so im going to be low, i was just wondering if it was possible, only reason i asked was bc i did the swap on my past 3 neons using srt4 axles, still getting used to the cobalt world lol

Yeah for the 2.2L engine, get the TTR Upper Mount and Tranny bushing inserts. Wheel hop be gone!
