I'm just posting this to make sure there not supposed to have a boot on them or not?

The one that came out of my car didnt, but the same part number one going back in did. It is the factory FTE one and has a green cover.

IIRC, mine had no boot. I can check in the attic if no one is sure. I replaced it with the clutch but kept the spare.
