Were both sets from the same company? JBO, Intense? Those reliability issues is why I've been pushing Aaron to put the R&D into some of those for us. I know the ones he puts out will most likely have a better chance of surviving. If they don't, he's much easier to work w/ regarding warranty issues anyways...

I have the TTR mount and Prothane bushings and it definetly make the car feel more solid, The only time I have excessive vibes/buzzing is is I do not bring up the rpm's a little when releasing the clutch in 1st or bog the engine.

just wanted to confirm, i have about 1000miles since my TTR full mount package was installed.
and i can say with certainty that yes, they definately do seem to settle down.

and as above, you only really notice bad vibes if you bog it around town.

Well, I ordered mine before I took off for a little vacation over the holidays and when I got back Wednesday the TTR mount and Prothane inserts were waiting for me at my door. Considering that we're sub-zero the last two days, I'm going to wait a little while before I install them and make my vote. I'd like to thank everyone that voted already and helped me make my desicion. I would also like to continue to invite anyone who makes a purchase from either company in the future to vote in this thread and keep it going.

Keep the chatter to a minimum, but feel free to give reasons for your vote. Especially if you regret your purchase. It would be helpful for other memebers to know why you are dissatisfied with your experience. Thanks all and good luck...

Be careful with just using the upper mount. Depending on how much power you're making, it may put a lot of stress on the lower two mounts and cause them to break. I would recommend buying the lower two inserts for safety's sake. That's just my opinion...
