F23 tranny from a 2.2

Im trying to get a used 2.2 or 2.4L F23 tranny, what I want to know is if the f23 out of the 2.2 cobalt will direct fit to my 2.4L? Just need a used tranny for 12k miles then my aftermarket warranty kicks in and I get a new one.

I would have to agree, I am almost 100% sure a 2.2L F23 is the same as the 2.4L F23....

I think the final gear ratio is the same. I know they will bolt up to the same mounts.

thats pretty much what i needed to know because it would probably be a lot harder to find a 2.4 F23 than a 2.2
