F25 Saab transmission in Cobalt SS??

F25 Saab transmission in Cobalt SS??
Hi guys,
I have gearbox trouble (grinding in second gear) and after doing some research, it seems that an F25 gearbox out of a Saab 9-5 will fit the Cobalt SS/SC. I was wondering if anyone had done this swap? Are the cases the same, or do you have to swap internals? I ask because a gearbox for a cobalt SS used is $900 and quite scarce, while there are a pile of Saab F25/35 gearboxes around for about $300.
Any help would be appreciated, guys.
