F40 guys, did your fuel economy change?

Granted fuel economy isnt typically whats on most peoples mind when doing the swap, as its mostly on the higher power builds, I'm just curious if anything changed and if the Saab or Regal trans was used. I understand there would be more parasitic loss, but the potential for higher gearing vs an existing 4.05 or 4.45 might more then make up for it. In my case, 4.45 gears with 3" exhaust at highway speeds is slowly making me deaf lol. And extra gear to drop into would be a godsend. I did the math, a Saab or Regal trans would drop my RPM 600 or 800 rpm respectively

Yes you will get better mileage on f40 but I dont keep track it's to hard to do with the Saab transmission because your odometer will same read right even with speedo being correct
