flywheel dowel pins

so ive got my gmpp clutch kit and dug out my fidenza flywheel to find out the dowel pins on the new flywheel are too small for the pressure plate. the fidenza flywheel has stepped dowel pins where it looks like the pressure plate is designed to use a straight dowel pin.

my question is, does the stock lsj flywheel have straight dowel pins, or are they stepped? im just a little confused why the fidenza flywheel, thats designed as a direct replacement doesnt work with the gmpp pressure plate, thats also designed as a factory replacement.

stock dowel is straight and too small for the GMPP clutch cover. I was going to make removable sleeves to align the cover while installing but didnt bother, I just eyeball it and so far so good probably installed 20 of these GMPP. Good deal. Good clutch.

If I were you I would use stock eco flywheel. Liteweight is overrated.
