I have a exedy chromoly flywheel and i recently took my motor out and it has blue spots on it and looks like it was heated really bad. is this normal for chromoly material or is it getting to hot?

If bluing is pronounce I would check to see if it warped. Some light bluing is ok though.
I would see that on my rotors sometime when racing. If there were deep spider cracks I tossed em.
