actually castrol makes the lsj transmission fluid and it has no equivalent as per castrol who also makes a 75w90 synthetic fluid

Thank You for Contacting Castrol North America ,

Unfortunately the Burmah Bot products are only available at your dealer. Castrol does not manufacture an equivalent.

Well "nubbie", I can contest that I have personally posted in at least 5 different threads as to which tranny fluids we can use. I was not "puffin out" my chest, and I even was nice enough to give you the answer on my preferred fluid. If you think I was mean, then you need to meet some of the others on here. I'm actually one of the more helpful people!

These are the only ones that meet the GL4 requirement so far that I've found are as follows:

Royal Purple Max Gear 75W-90
Saturn Manual Transmission Fluid P/N 21018899 (Made by Castrol Burmah Bot)

I will say from my own personal useage the Royal Purple Max Gear straight up kicks the Saturn ***** ass hands down. Way smoother shifts, shock protection, and just far superior all around performance. RP gets the

Oh ****, your an auto tranny! Then none of this applies. I'd have to look into it, but I'm guessing you'll need some synthetic ATF then! I'm deployed right now, so I can't go the dealership and get the specs to see what's out there or I would. I still recommend Royal Purple products though as I've had amazing results with them in all three of my vehicles!

Well 2K glad to hear that you got the rite gear- heard that that was a problem over there for a min- not to say that there are peeps over there still tryin to get the rite gear. This dexron 6 ATf stuff is making it crazy. It something that GM came out with that an spec upgrade of dexron 3 I guess and it a syn. blend- whatever the hell tha means. So now because of some info u gave me I got my shovel and goin to work. So thanks for the one up man and drink lots of water cause i know its gettin hot here So i know its crazy hot there.
