can't beat a low mileage g85 trans for $695 shipped to the door




now i just gotta get time to install it with the act setup

autopartsfair.com they're part of a massive engine/trans reseller company. it said my trans came out of kansas, but the shipping tag is actually out of texas, they're nationwide. and also give a 1 year warranty with everything. we get all of our trans and working long blocks from them, unless we can just find a killer deal on the stuff on forums.

if you ever need anything you can just call them up and tell them to find something for you, if they can't give you a yes over the phone immediately, they can usually find one with 24 hours.

crazy, i bet this is the tranny i was supposed to get the halfshaft out of... small world. oh well i know where to look for one now

except you would have another $150ish in parts you need to put it back together if you did that. and you need special tools to do it

oh man, dont mean to thread jack, but im so stoked right now. i bought an lsd trans, broke it recently, but im pretty sure it can be welded up!









so stoked. open diff sucks ass

Yea i dont see any reason that cant be welded back on. Just make sure u weld the **** out of it.

yeah man just have that welded, and weld a couple of plates on there too that way all of the stress isn't right back on the welds.

what caused that, launching?

what caused it was a transmission mount bolt falling out. and i didnt know about it. tons of drag passes later and...
