Getting the alignment and replacing the outer tie rods
Getting the alignment and replacing the outer tie rods
The store next to me quoted me $ 500 to do the alignment and to replace the outer tie rods (they buy them and replace them). Is that a fair price?
outrageous price. \go buy tie rod ends from CED. put them on and go get an alignment. 200-250 max. It takes about 20 minutes to change tie rods including driving into the shop jacking it up etc etc etc.
alignment is toe in/out only. the rest is not adjustable on a stock car, easily and 99.9% of the time camber is not wrong and if caster is wrong you need new parts.

Yea that's a crazy price haha 4 wheel alignment after my springs was like 65 dollars here and changing the tie rods would've been a matter of like one more bolt....guy who did the alignment said it was barely off and prob didn't need aligned anyways. Better safe than sorry when you start chewin tires up tho.
