keep in mind guys that the gmpp clutch kit is just a turbo cobalt LNF clutch there have been dyno sheets that show right around 300whp it starts slipping. it would be a good replacment for anyone not looking for any huge power, just a couple bolt ons in a dialy driver. i myself wouldnt use it if you race or drive your car real hard.
Keeping in mind that its torque not hp that makes a clutch slip. Arent tuned LNF's putting down 275'ish whp and around 310ft/lbs of torque? I'd venture to guess a 300whp LNF car5 is putting down ALOT more torque than a 300whp LSJ. I just have stage 2, cat-back and airbox mod and my clutch is almost gone(looked at it when it was out when my tranny was replaces under warranty) and I only have 25000miles on my car. I think this clutch will be great for anyone with stage 2 and bolt-ons that doesnt want to take it a whole lot farther and wants a cheap but effective replacement for the factory piece of crap we have.
