good clutch

I need a new cluth sometime soon cause the stock one is slipping a lot. I was thinking about the ACT HD 6 Puck Clutch Kit W/Flywheel. I'm gonna get a stage 2 kit for the SC. Is this a good clutch or do I need to go with something different?

I'm pleased with my SPEC Stage 2+ on an LNF but if I were doing it over, I'd keep the stock flywheel and go ZZP Stage 4+.

SPEC Stage 2+ or 3+ or the Exedy hyper Single kit, are all good choices.

Was it a "puck" disc design by chance?

Dang, how long was it in the car? What kind of power was being pushed?

Need a picture of the clutch DISC with pressure plate...

We hear about it a lot on the non "+" series, which are "puck" discs, but we have honestly never heard it on the "+" series, which is a full faced disc.

Pucks suck on SPEC, but the full faced "+" have always been good on our customer setups.

i think it depends on what kind of power you want to put down.. i was reading up about the ACT clutches because thats going to be my next investment (that pic slowswap posted is my flywheel with the spec 3+) but anyways, if you dont think youll be over like 350 wtq you should look into the ACT with the SS disc. its a full face so it will be alot friendlier. i know the 6 puck disc is good for 435 wtq so thats the one i need. im actually going to be ordering this clutch on monday.

only engine mods that I'm gonna have is a stage 2 kit. it might not be very soon but within the next 2 or 3 months. I was wanting to run the stock flywheel with it too.

hmm.. well you could but as far as i know, all ACT clutches come with flywheels.. you might be better off going with the street disc.. its still good for 340 tq.. heres a description: http://www.raceinspired.com/p-21315-...iliateid=10065

If you want a decent Clutch for the price the GM upgrade is a decent clutch not better than ACT but it holds stage 2 very well. Thats what I put in and i have stage 2.

Spec clutches are junk and have a terrible rep

Look at all the members on the JBO that have had nothing but issues from them
