i got into my mangers 2.2ls the other day and he had me drive it around the block. His gearbox seemed very smooth, everything went in like butter. Coming back to my car I feel as though shifting it into any gear I have to really pull it in, almost like passing wall. What could this mean for my tranny? Is it simply an oil change or flush or something else? Car is at 156000km bought it at 121,000km.

 

Adjust or maybe new shifter cables new redline gear oil is always a good idea too

 

is there a guide on how to adjust something like this? like I said I have to push it threw the gates(?) of the gear to get it in as appose to it going straight threw like my managers 2.2.
