G5 2.2 auto.

WOT it "stalls" for like 3-5 seconds to switch from 1st to 2nd but from 2nd to 3rd (D) its no big deal. By stalls i mean as soon as its supposed to switch into 2nd its like if i just let go of the gas pedal despite having it on WOT. 3-5 seconds later it kicks into 2nd and i start picking up speed again.


Aside from checking my trans fluid, what could it be?

Your trans is on it's way out.

 

How many miles are on the car? Also has the fluid and filter ever been changed? When you check it, smell it and make sure it doesn't smell burnt.

Dat 2 quart fill up bro...lol.

 

Let the car warm up and with it running check the fluid. Smell it also. That will give you a good idea. It should still look pink. Post up pictures of the dip stick.

 

They have no dip stick

 

Could also be stretched cables or crushed roll pin.
