Question HELP!!!!! with Clutch and Slave Cylinder issue...

I KNOW THIS IS LONG BUT PLEASE READ IT... I DONT KNOW WHAT ELSE TO DO TO GET THIS CLUTCH PROBLEM FIX... PLEASE HELP...

A little history:
I recently changed my clutch on a 05 cobalt SS with a lil over 100,xxx mi, due to the old one going bad... when replacing it I noticed the car already had a 6 pad clutch with a yellow plate so I decided to replaced it with something similar. I got a ACT performance street sprung clutch kit which also came with the racing flywheel, I also replaced the old GM slave cylinder with a new PEP BOYS slave cylinder. After everything got installed... the car ran for about 25 miles, and the car once again was not able to shift into any gears. So I took it back to the mechanic and he told me that more likely the new Slave Cylinder went bad (according to him the clutch is too high performance for the slave cylinder to handle).

I then went to a different mechanic who replaced the new PEP BOYS Slave Cylinder with a new factory GM Slave Cylinder from a GM dealership, after everything got installed the car ran well for about 150-200 miles, the car is once again unable to shift gears it will only start in Neutral AGAIN.

Can anyone PLEASE HELP me... any advice as to what is going on??

Some people are telling me that maybe the Clutch is too High Performance and any slave cylinders I put in will not resist the power of the Clutch... can this really be true?

I already spent a lot of money with this issue and cannot afford to spent too much more on the same issue... Should I just go with a cheap aftermarket clutch kit from Pep Boys or NAPA?? Will this permanently fix this clutch problem??

Kind of sounds like you need new mechanics. Get a quality clutch. Get quality GM parts if possible (slave/master if necessary). And, please get a qualified mechanic<====probably your #1 problem. Do it once--problem solved!

I put the ZZP adjustable rod in mine and was able to shorten it a bit to eliminate the problem of too much pressure. Its adjusted so I get good disengagement of the clutch closer to the floor.

for me I'm having a similar issue just shy of 140,000 mi, clutch/flywheel ect... took her to Chevy... Chevy fucked up... I can't shift her, well if I am lucky I can apparently they screwed up some one else's car too with this issue.... air in the Manual transmission fluid tubes. makes for a major **** up and or could cause death if you can't down shift through hairpin turns....

trust me I tried, went back this morning... these "techs" are about to get reamed....

I say check the manual transmission fluid... there might be air in it.. if so they need to flush and redo it... I swear I need to figure out how to do it myself if they screw up again omg
