actully, they are pretty big in the honda community. And they are actually good pieces. However, most people that get them go through, disassemble and reassemble the unit. Since the only complaint I remember was improperly torqued bolts and such. But after "rebuilding" it, they are good pieces

not to sure really......can probably find them online, or maybe even contact the company and see if you can get them.

I remember seeing something on these. Someone had one, it had this major problem, and there was no coverage, etc. Basically out what they had spent PLUS transmission repairs.

The OBX unit is actually fantastic, and a pretty reliable unit. The ONLY problem I could forsee on an SS/SC is the difficulty of working with the F35.

In like 5 minutes of research, if you really really want an LSD for your 2.2......fish around the Cavalier boards. Their manual is the same as the 2.2/2.4 manual, has been around for quite a while and has a LOT more options as far as LSDs go.

I admit it wasn't on a cobalt, but I would be cautious going for something like this through ebay. No body you can go and throttle if need be...

Well that and in also searching......for a while they were confusing the F23 (2.2/2.4) diff with the F35 diff. So people would order one for the SS/SC and get one for the 2.2/2.4 and vice versa.
