Which tranny cooler is best bang for the buck

As most on here know I will be going turbo in the future, and as I have a automatic tranny, which cooler and size is best to use..

I have been looking at some of the B&M ones and they range from size and finishes..

Whats a tranny cooler that you would recommend??

Ive seen the coolers range from 40-300 dollars, and I want a quality one. Is there a certain size thats best or is it one size fits all kind of thing??

27.44 dollars, wow that is very inexpensive.. I read somewhere how to hook it up, cant remember, it is hard to do.. Hoping i dont have to drain tranny fluid as I see the two barbs on the left side.

Thanks for showing me that

do not use a tube and fin cooler on these cars. these coolers were designed back in the 60s. back then, a transmission didnt need some heat to work correctly. today, with our full electronic transmissions with pulse width modulated lockup, the transmission needs to get to operating temp to be efficient and to last. what you need is a stackerd plate cooler, like a Tru-cool. as the oil heats up it becomes thinner. these coolers have orfices in them to only allow cold fluid through the lower part of the cooler. as the fluid heats up, it gets thinner and goes through the small orfices using the whole cooler. this is whats called a self regulating cooler

that is the type of cooler you want. its called a stacked plate cooler. its designed so it only uses the area of the cooler required to keep your transmission at the correct operating tempeture, and doesnt allow it to be overcooled

the $50 cooler is fine. they arent hard to bolt up with some creativity. you wont need to drain the fluid.
