how to install axle - video

HOW TO INSTALL AXLE:

time to install: 15 mins

tools needed:

tire iron
torch or heat gun
rubber hammer
wd-40
ratchets 3/8 and 1/2
30mm, 16mm and 15mm
wrench 15mm or 16mm your choice.

HOW TO TAKE OFF.

nice video only thing is i didnt have to use any heat or wd-40 when i did mine. i might have gotten lucky though.

my pass side axle was so rusted in the intermediate shaft it wasnt even funny.

the only thing that seemed to work the past 3 times has been a lot of heat.

yours might have been a weird case if it was rusted real bad, but a slide hammer makes these jobs 1 million times easier. then again ive only pulled about 9 of these out now...

you can rent them from most autoparts store and take them back. hell o'reilly's loans them for free
