hurst shifter question

what is the thread pattern for the shifer knob for the hurst shifter? (ie. 5/16-18, 7/16-20, 3/8-16, 3/8-24, 1/2-20 And 9/16-18 thread)

im really not sure, but being that the reverse lock out upper collar is about an inch wide and there is an inch wide hole machined into the bottom of the knob. i dont think you could get most knobs to fit without being machined. not that it helps but if i had to guess i would say 5/16's 18 0r 3/8's 16
