ok... I took not even .005" (5 thousanths) off this flywheel and i'm wondering what the depth from the red "X" and the black "X" is supposed to be.... and what the tolerances are so I can make sure the flywheel isn't shot.....

THANK YOU!!! I'm glad I just had it cleaned, I wasn't sure about the machineing... just did a big block flywheel but there different. Cleaned up great.

 

so got the new clutch today and disk.... yeah the original pressure plate was defective and locked into the "engaged" positon... and got really really hot....lol

 

Link is gone need those measurements as well and i guess this is the only thread on the forum about this, please respond asap

 

called KY clutches, they told me the measurement they had was .305
