I have the bushings with OEM shifter. They make the shifts feel firmer and easier to do, it has nothing to do with neutral slop because that is based on the oem shifter.

jesus people just getting the bushings? lol It was one of the first mods I did. When shifting it feels more direct and stiff. Easy as heck to put in too.

I had a short throw on my old cobalt. Didnt care for it to much.

Nice, I just checked the site has anyone used the short shifter they have now? I mean for $50.00 you can't go wrong I assume.

Just throwing this out there.... I know B&M and I assume Hurst STSs come with solid bushings too, so you might contact them and ask how much replacements would cost. Could be a cheaper alternative.

Would they work with the stock shifter?

hmmm, well on the SC all you replace is the shifter and bushings not the shifter support bracket... so yes it would work

I don't know about the TC, never dealt with one but I imagine it's the same basic design, someone else will have to confirm though.

Installed today. Was pretty strait forward. I recommend taking the whole center console so its easier to work with. You Don't have to tho I guess. Shifting feels much more precise. Nothing night and day but definitely noticeable. Id recommend to friends as it is a cheap upgrade.

Just ordered mine too! 31.80 shipped.

On a side note, I have the TTR poly mounts, and upper motor mount, when I installed these, it seemed to stiffen up the shifts. But now I'm going back to stock mounts with the OTTP Stg1 rotated mount. So if I install these, do you think it will still be an improvement?

Yes you should still see an improvement, since these are focusing solely on the shifter base to the chassis, need any help post up here and ill help you out
