while i have the twm short throw, i do have the bushings kit, and everything felt like it stiffened up quite a bit. shifts felt more solid, but they will definatly help the feel.
i also thought i loved the stock shifter, which i did like it. i hated the knob. but once i went to the twm i'd just say screw the stock and get the twm. /end

Just throwing this out there.... I know B&M and I assume Hurst STSs come with solid bushings too, so you might contact them and ask how much replacements would cost. Could be a cheaper alternative.

hmmm, well on the SC all you replace is the shifter and bushings not the shifter support bracket... so yes it would work
I don't know about the TC, never dealt with one but I imagine it's the same basic design, someone else will have to confirm though.

Installed today. Was pretty strait forward. I recommend taking the whole center console so its easier to work with. You Don't have to tho I guess. Shifting feels much more precise. Nothing night and day but definitely noticeable. Id recommend to friends as it is a cheap upgrade.

Just ordered mine too! 31.80 shipped.
On a side note, I have the TTR poly mounts, and upper motor mount, when I installed these, it seemed to stiffen up the shifts. But now I'm going back to stock mounts with the OTTP Stg1 rotated mount. So if I install these, do you think it will still be an improvement?
