LNF Clutch Guys

Ok, I know there are 1000000000000000000000 different threads about clutches.

I dont feel like sifting through them all so im just going to ask.

My mods are in my Sig,

My dealer is replacing my transmission under warranty and im going to have them throw in a new clutch while they are there because they also believe something is wrong with the clutch as well.
My pedal for a stock clutch is different then any other, its extremely stiff.

So what should i get?

Im 300whp on a mustang dyno and about 328wtq

All and any help is much loved! thanks!

zzp stage 4 seems to have been well recieved... or the Hyper Single if you're a bit more into the aggressive disks...

not as expensive as having to take the tranny back out to replace the first clutch you put in becuase you dont like it or it doesn't suit your needs... i wont make that mistake again,..

You would be just fine on a stock clutch assuming the fix whatever caused the original one to be so stiff.

He prob can't get used to engagment. So I'm assuming you have the frost or second revised pressure plate. Stock feel just engagment is different.

It all depends of your future plans. If you think of keeping this power, the stock clutch is your best deal. If you're thinking to make more, but still moderate, I can tell you that I have 410whp and 389wtq, I have a Clutchmaster and it is great. No slip and the pedal is the same as with the stock clutch. The price of the Clutchmaster is low.

I probably do have one of the first ones, and I realize that **** can't be perfect but it's just not normal, engagement is about .5 to 1 inch from the top there is no slip and it is not consistent meaning sometimes it shifts smooth and sometimes it jerks all over , it does hold more power than stock clutch but I wouldn't buy another, the pedal is also about 50percent softer than stock as in all I have to do is tap it to move it which seems great but it's really not haha

do u have difficulty getting into reverse and second?

My dealer thinks that something was wrong with the clutch which inturn caused the transmission problem.

They also said GM made them jump through hoops to get the Transmission

Your clutch and trans are unrelated its only making it more pronounced. You can leave it alone if you wanted but like I told you if it was mine it would be getting a clutch.

Ure issue sounds like air in the system. The clutch will be consistant with every engagement. It should never change. So therefore air in system or a hydraulic part is weak.

KY Clutch here. GREAT clutch, mine is very close to stock engagement and awesome feel. No slippage at all at 360wtq. Definitely recommended. Plus it's much more affordable and you get a 1-year warranty...so why not?
