I absolutely love my Hypersingle

And the lightweight flywheel it comes with makes the car noticeably more responsive.

Not to jack the thread. But how far does the stock clutch pedal come out? My release is like an inch or two before "bite" point. This made me wonder if it was an aftermarket setup because some you have a lot more upward or outward pedal travel to reach "bite" point (if that makes sense)

Thanks for the input. Maybe it is middle since i don't actually look down. Just seems real soon compared to every other manual car i've had.

We have heard others state this also. Now that more members are getting them, they seem to be having this same issue.... SPEC full faced stage 2+ and 3+ FTW (NO chatter)

Thats why i went back to stock clutch ..........it got annoying in traffic

I have the Spec Stage 3 and it chattered in first untill about 1000 miles on it . I took it easy for the first 1000 miles and its good now. Has a stock pedal feel also. I talked to the guys at spec and the pressure plate is the same for 2 and 3 series clutch setups so if you want to try a different disc you can upgrade or downgrade

Spec "+" series don't chatter as they are a full face disc. Puck style tend to chatter in all brands.

Geoff you got a new tranny under warranty too? Lol guess I'm not the only one in Rochester that had a transmission that wouldn't shift from 1st into 2nd. And what dealer did you go through, I've always had the best luck at bob Johnson's

Well I have fried one in a 2007 at the drags, and recently in my 2009 LNF. The torque has been steadily growing as Hahn parts were added, but it happened over a longer time period. Was smelling it some weeks before it failed. I am told that double-clutching at 80-going up hill was probably the last straw.
