LNF's with KY stage 3

I just got the car back with the new clutch yesterday. It engages and shifts great, but when the clutch is let out there's a fair amount of chatter, is it normal with this clutch? I'm just not used to it. Thanks!

Yup, 100% normal.

After the 500 mile break in, it gets better. Mine hardly ever did it anymore after 1000 miles and now it barely does it only when I creep in reverse.

No worries

Just remember, it's the around town driving that really breaks them in. Stop and go, varying RPM shifts and not going above 3500rpms to shift or any WOT stuff.

Hardest 500 miles of my life

How do you like the KY Stage 3 clutch so far? I heard mixed feelings about KY Clutches and I'm gonna need one very soon for the LNF I just picked up cause the stocker that is in it now feels like crap/mushy and theirs No way in Hell that the stock clutch is gonna hold once I Add the DownPipe and Tune to my car.

I like it so far, I'll be able to tell you more once it's broken in. I had 58k miles on the old clutch and it was slipping pretty bad. My flywheel was resurfaced, but I ordered the new TOB with it.

Mine does it all the time. sometimes in reverse and first when the clutch is getting engaged makes a squeak noise sometimes. Gives me noises but drives just fine so I ignore it lol

Like others have said, mine also chattered a bit for maybe the first few hundred miles but since then (granted I have maybe 800 miles on the new clutch) I haven't really noticed any sort of chatter. It does however grab like a son of a bitch really low on the pedal engagment. I'm still not completely used to how low it grabs yet so I look like a freakin tool who just learned how to drive stick all over again!

I see this then I see peps saying it feels like stock.

This is why I'm worried about this clutch.

When does it disengage?
