location of roll pin issue

location of roll pin issue

can anyone discribe the location of the infamous roll pin that causes shifter/trans problems
i want to inspect the pin myself and determine if i can put something better in its place if necessary

any help would be useful

Did you by chance ever get this info? I'm trying to locate it as well.
