I need some help/info on what I should do..

I came to a stop light.. Noticed I had to get over so I got on it a little (75% throttle) then tried to shift fairly quick to get into 2nd but after I released the clutch it acted like it was still in neutral. (no grind either)

I just figured that I missed 2nd.. oh well right?
Wrong.. pulled into the parking lot.. Put it in 2nd.. same deal. acts like its in neutral.

So my question is what kind of damage am I looking at here? lol

Anyone know a good dealer that doesn't mind mod's? lol I really do not feel like having to demod. (though I do know that is kind of a shitty thing to do considering I did mod the car)

Any help would be great.

There was a thread on this last week. I'll try to find it because I can't remember what the cause was. I think it was something small that snapped though.

happen to me on 3rd gear 2nd time....ur syncros are gone all grinded off, cobalts trannys are weak for those who push the cars to the limit. oh and save up some cash if you can, ur gonna need it.

Is it hard to work on these trans?
I've messed with a couple other car's transmissions but never a cobalts.

Still under warrantee isnt it being an 07? Demod and take it in for service.

 

if u start to leak fluid,ur tranny case is cracked,as well as ur 2nd gear took a crap and is completly bald..make sure u have atleast 2grand for a new transmission
